Early American furniture such as the “Pilgrim Century”, “Colonial” and “Federal” furniture styles are linked, in both style and construction, to English Furniture like the “Jacobean”, “William and Mary”, “Queen Anne” and “Chippendale” style. Many styles offered by Brandenberry Furniture contain features from the Early American furniture styles. Early American furniture from the Queene Anne period is noted for its graceful curves and elegant feet. Other periods within the Early American furniture era made the following furniture features and new pieces popular: bun feet, wing chair, chest on chest, ogee edge, wood inlays, tapered feet, reeded legs, fluted legs and sleigh beds. All of these Early American features are on many of the Brandenberry Amish furniture pieces.
