Q: Do you ever have sales?

A: Yes! We often hold seasonal sales that offer a variety of price reductions. Our newsletter keeps you up to date on all current sales. Sign up today by entering your email address in the subscribe box to the right!


Q: What’s so distinctive about Mennonite and Amish furniture?

A: Mennonite and Amish furniture is crafted in small Amish and Mennonite shops in Northern Indiana and Ohio rather than large manufacturing facilities. Real solid North American wood (generally no particle board or laminate are used) and veneers are used to build the furniture. It is built with quality, proven construction techniques and detail, ensuring long-lasting durability.


Q: How are you different from other Amish Furniture retailers?

A: The LeRoy Weaver family has been in the Shipshewana furniture industry for nearly 20 years. The Brandenberry Furniture concept allows our clients to design the furniture of their dreams…to explore the rich woods and stains that only nature can offer. To assist in your selection, we’ve dedicated much of the new store to educating our clients on wood types, styles and color options. We also offer a selection of exclusive, custom furniture. And because we work directly with our builders, we always offer the newest designs and collections.


Q: How do you offer such competitive prices?

A: By working directly between the builder and the buyer, you can think of our furniture as “workshop direct”. We cut down on the extra charges added by Amish wholesalers. Also, our builders impose no restrictions on pricing and always work to ensure the best pricing between the builder and buyer.


Q: Are all your items shown on your website?

A: No. The pieces we show represent a much larger selection. We also strongly encourage customers to create custom furniture which can be designed and built to your specifications.


Q: How can I create custom furniture?

A: We take pride in creating custom furniture for our clients. Simply contact one of our associates and we will happily assist you in creating a truly original piece for your home or office.


Q: Do you have additional finishes?

A: Yes, we have additional finishing, staining and painting options available for our clients.  Please call or email us for additional information. Additional charges apply in cases where a non-standard finish (i.e. stain match) is used.


Q: How do I place an order?

A: Placing an order is easier than ever! You can call us or you can order through our website by briefly completely filling out the contact us form. We will call you back to confirm the order details and then start the building process. Or visit us in our store to speak with one of our associates.


Q: How do I pay?

A: We accept cash, check, credit card or third-party financing through Wells Fargo Bank (with approval).


Q: How long will it take to build my furniture?

A: The majority of our furniture is built and ready to ship or be picked up between 6 to 9 weeks from the order date.
