Indeed, the scalloped, arched headboard, carved spindles and ornately carved blanket rail on the footboard all please the eye! As do the carved posts, each topped with a round (cannon ball) feature. (The bed is so called in order to differentiate itself from similar ornate beds that ‘wrap’ around the footboard.) We offer the bed in king, California king, queen (shown), full and twin sizes. So, you can choose the size that’s best for you. Our Amish cabinetmakers build the bed. And they use top hardwoods like oak, cherry and brown maple (shown with Briar stain).
